Description
Dr (Col) Chengappa has retired after 24 years of service in the Indian Army of which 15 years were exclusively devoted to sports medicine and orthopaedic rehabilitation. He comes with rich experience in setting up two Advanced Rehabilitation centres one for the Army and the other for the Sports Injury Centre, Safdarjung Hospital.
Dr Chengappa has been Head of Dept. Physical Medicine and Sports Medicine of the prestigious Army Hospital (Research & Referral), Consultant Sports Medicine, Sports Injury Centre Safdarjung Hospital and Clinical Director, AktivOrtho(International chain of Sports medicine and Orthopaedic rehab clinic). Dr Chengappa has worked with numerous International athletes and taken part in various National and International sports events.
